God Advances His Mission Through Prepared Servants

Mar 1, 2026    Pastor Tim Brewer

In Acts 16:1–15, we see the powerful movement of the Gospel as Paul begins his second missionary journey. This passage reminds us that God directs His mission with purpose, precision, and power. From Timothy’s humble enlistment into ministry, to the Spirit’s redirection away from Asia and into Macedonia, we are reminded that closed doors are often God’s guidance—not His rejection.

Pastor Tim Brewer highlights how obedience in the small things positions us for greater Kingdom impact. Paul’s sensitivity to the Holy Spirit led him to Philippi, where a simple prayer meeting by the river became the birthplace of the first church in Europe. Lydia’s open heart demonstrates that when God opens a door, He also opens hearts.

This message challenges believers to trust God’s leading, embrace divine interruptions, and remain faithful in sharing the Gospel—because when we follow God’s direction, lives are transformed and households are changed for eternity.
